Prophetess Lora Posey was born in Laurel, Mississippi on December 19, 1960. She is a native of Collins, Mississippi. She was called to preach the gospel in 1994 under the leadership of the late Machon Hartfield, Pastor of Shady Oak MBC where the foundation of P.A.G.E Ministries was first visualized. She now resides in the Hattiesburg area since 1997.
Prophetess Posey was licensed to preach the gospel in 2003 under the leadership of Arthur L. Siggers, Pastor of Mt. Olive MBC and is also an author/writer. Her new released book “The Crushing Process: A Divine Call of God” was published in 2006 and is now available through Author House Publishing Company, Amazon.com and many other book stores around the world.
In her book, Prophetess Posey demonstrates a hope in God that will touch the hearts of all people, regardless of education or background. Prophetess Posey illustrates that signs often seen as rebellious behavior in young people, are actually signs of their suffering and a cry for help. She is the founder of “The P.A.G.E. Ministries (Parents Against Gang Evolvement)” in her community.
Prophetess Posey holds an associate’s degree in childcare from Jones Junior College, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master’s degree in education from American InterContinental University Online. God has raised her up in the body of Christ for such a time as this!
Prophetess Posey is one of the Elders currently on staff at Surehouse Covenant Church under the leadership of Pastor Alvin Walker. She is the Director of Surehouse Learning Center, Inc , oversees the hospitality ministry at Surehouse Covenant Church and also in January of 2008, God released and established P.A.G.E Ministries which has brought about a new beginning and change in her life and ministry.
