Los Banos' Bubble Bursting Real Soon! -
7/7/2019Everything I think about this town has already been said. And those things unfortunately are more in the negative category. Not too much good to say about this town. Literally the only perk is the fact that there isnt crushing traffic to have to deal with on a daily basis. The only reason I stay is because I want to be close to my children that I had with a women who is from Los Banos so of course she has some ties here. Family and such. So you guessed it. Im pretty much indirectly trapped here. Otherwise Id be out of here so fast it'd make your head spin. And the housing and rental costs are absolutely ridiculous! WAAAAAAY too overpriced for the location. I mean, real estates main motto is "location, location, location." Ok then why doesnt that apply here? But I digress, That actually DID apply here up until about a few years ago when the locals let "the powers that be" here trick them into thinking they were part of the Bay area. I have news for the people of Los Banos...YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN THE BAY AREA! This is Los Banos. A small little town thats more Fresno than coastal. Stop dreaming please. Now you've opened the door for them to charge you very near the same high prices you would be dealing with if you DID live in the bay area. Dont be Lemmings. I guess its good for people who actually OWN their homes because now you have an over inflated property value. Nows the time to sell though, while you can because once all the hipsters who've recently discovered this place and came in buying up everything discover that that job commute between here and the REAL bay area is in fact NOT fun, AND that Los Banos has NOTHING to offer in ANY category other than no traffic, they are going to start selling their homes and moving back where they came from in DROVES. After all, if the cost of living goes up to around the same as it would be in the REAL bay area then theres no incentive for them to even move here. Trust me, Los Banos is in a bubble and it will be blowing up soon. And one last thing. Ive lived in MANY places in California and other States. Trust me when I say this. Los Banos as a collection of the MOST non driving people ive ever witnessed in one little area. Every driver parks at the stop signs AND for some reason thinks they have to wait until OTHER drivers come to a complete stop before THEY can pull off. There are WAAAAY too many stop signs clustered together for a town this small and Everyone here drives sooooooo slow and over cautious. These people are SOOO lucky cars dont come with missile launchers in the front grill, lol.
