Most likely the best kept secret in Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio, Portage Lakes near Akron is one of those very rare places in America, where you can enjoy resort-like waterfront living on a series of contiguous lakes. Located in and around a state park, the atmosphere is truly relaxing and peaceful. A boat ride from your own dock feels much like Florida, yet without the often unbearable heat. There is easy access for watersports from spring through the fall. In the winter, Portage Lakes is alive with ice skaters, snowmobiles, and ice fishermen. The ability to dock and dine, on or off your boat, with family and friends at local restaurants is just icing on the cake.
Portage Lakes is a lifestyle. A pleasant place to come home to.
