The health of the passengers and crew aboard the Titanic was of great importance to their safe voyage. Unfortunately, there were no population statistics available for this journey so it is difficult to know how healthy everyone was before they boarded the ship. However, we do know that there were several medical facilities onboard which included a hospital ward with two surgeons, a trained nurse and two assistant nurses. Additionally, there were three doctors who could advise passengers on any medical issues they may have had during their travels. All staff members had adequate supplies to treat minor illnesses and injuries. While the Titanic did not have access to advanced medical equipment or treatments that are taken for granted today, it was still well-equipped with basic medical care and resources. This would have helped ensure the health of everyone onboard during their journey.
