North Pole, AK is a small community located in the Fairbanks North Star Borough with a population of about 2,825 people. The town is known for its small-town charm and year-round outdoor activities such as the Santa Claus House, where visitors can take pictures with Santa year round. Visitors also enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, dog mushing and ice skating during winter months. Summertime activities include fishing, camping, hiking and exploring Denali National Park and Preserve. Sports fans can cheer on the North Pole Nanooks at their various sporting events throughout the school year.

Our winter normally starts in september and ends mid april with brake-up. This is when the ice and snow goes away for the spring to come. We will get the coldest winter  More
