Ash Fork, AZ is a small unincorporated community located in Yavapai County in northwestern Arizona. With an estimated population of 652 people and a population density of 388.22 people per square mile, it is much smaller than the US as a whole with a population of 329,725,481 and a density of 93.29 people per square mile. Ash Fork has many local businesses such as the Big Red Store, Diamond Creek Trading Post, and the Westside Cafe for dining out. There are also many year-round outdoor activities such as hiking in Sycamore Canyon or fishing at Ash Creek Wildlife Area. Other demographic organizations include the American Legion Post 72 for veterans and the Ash Fork Volunteer Fire Department to help serve the community. Local sporting events include basketball tournaments throughout the year at Grand Canyon High School and horse shows at Grand Canyon Equestrian Center.
