Sanibel also hosts several annual events such as the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge Nature Festival held each February to celebrate National Wildlife Refuge Week; The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Art Festival featuring over 100 fine art exhibitors from around the world; and The Tour de Fort Myers & Islands Bike Ride held every October to benefit local charities in Lee County.
