Silver Lake, ND is a small rural town located in the western portion of the state. With a population of only 8 people, it is one of the least densely populated areas in the United States with only 1 person per square mile. Despite its size, Silver Lake boasts a vibrant community with several businesses and organizations that provide year-round outdoor activities for residents and visitors alike. Some local businesses include Silver Lake Grocery & Hardware and the Rustic Inn Bar & Grill. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy such as fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and more. The town also hosts sporting events on occasion like the annual Silver Lake Snow Scramble sled race and the 4th of July Parade. Additionally, there are several local organizations such as The Silver Lake Lions Club that help support community initiatives and provide assistance to those in need.
