Despite its size, there are several businesses and organizations located in Cedar Point to give residents plenty of options for year-round fun.

The Bedias Creek Nature Reserve along with Belville Park are popular destinations for locals looking to relax outdoors or take part in some of the recreational sports offered throughout the year such as kayaking and canoeing. Additionally, there are several golf courses nearby that have events running frequently during summer months.
Other organizations found in Cedar Point include the local library where members can check out books or even pick up gardening supplies from their community garden section. In addition to these services, Cedar point also hosts numerous sporting events throughout the year such as softball tournaments and 5K races that draw participants from all over Texas.
