For outdoor activities there is fishing at nearby Lake Wedington or Beaver Lake, golfing at Cedar Creek Golf Course or hiking at Devil’s Den State Park both close by. There are also several local organizations like Friends of UAFS-Rabbit Branch that offers educational programs to the community and the Fine Arts Center that provides music and art classes for all ages. In terms of sports events, the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith has baseball games throughout the year and an annual BBQ Cook Off held in April each year which draws plenty of crowds from surrounding cities.
