Silver Plume, CO is a small mountain town nestled in the Rocky Mountains. With a population of only 183 people it has a cozy and friendly atmosphere. There are several great local businesses in town including Silver Plume Feed & Supply, Silver Plume Wine & Spirits, and Dolly’s Mountain Cafe. Year-round outdoor activities include fishing, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and whitewater rafting. Other organizations in the area are The Silver Plume Historical Society which promotes the preservation of local history and culture as well as The Clear Creek County Library which hosts many community events. Local sporting events include the annual Running With The Sheep Race held each summer at nearby Georgetown Lake and winter ski and snowboard races at Loveland Ski Area.
