Hazel, ND is a small town with a population of only nine people. Despite its small size, it is home to numerous local businesses such as the Hazel Cafe and DiAngelo's Grocery Store. The community also offers many year-round outdoor activities such as fishing and snowmobiling in nearby parks and forests. Other organizations in Hazel include the local Lions Club and volunteer fire department, both of which are highly involved in the community. Each fall, residents come together for an annual deer hunting tournament, which always draws large crowds from surrounding areas.
