Rames, SD is a small town located in South Dakota with a population of 17 people. It is a rural area with just over 1 person per square mile of land. Despite its small size, Rames has many businesses and organizations to become involved in. Local businesses include the Corner Store for groceries and other everyday items, the Countryside Bar & Grill for good food and drinks, and the Hardware Store for home improvement needs. There are also some year-round outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, camping, and hunting that can be enjoyed in Rames' countryside. For those who prefer more organized sports, there are local softball tournaments hosted at Joe's Park throughout the season as well as annual skateboard competitions sponsored by the nearby community center. Other local organizations include the town library and the volunteer fire brigade which provide important services to the community.
