Petersburg, TN is a small city located in the northwestern corner of Tennessee. It has an estimated population of 836 people according to the 2010 census. Despite its small size, it is ranked as one of the best places to live in the state by Best Places. Petersburg offers its citizens a wide variety of outdoor activities, including hiking and fishing along the Obion River, golfing at local courses, and kayaking or canoeing on nearby lakes. The city also boasts some excellent restaurants, as well as two historic sites from the Civil War era for visitors to explore. Additionally, there are several parks with playgrounds and picnic areas scattered throughout the city. All in all, Petersburg is a great place to call home with plenty of amenities to keep its residents happy and active.
