Tanacross, AK is a small town located in the southeastern part of Alaska near the border with Canada. The population of this rural community was estimated to be around 150 people in 2018. Despite the small size of the town, there are several religious congregations that serve its inhabitants. These churches represent a variety of different faiths including Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian and Episcopal denominations. The church buildings themselves are incredibly varied in design and style – ranging from historic wooden structures to modern brick buildings. No matter which faith you choose – or even if you don’t identify with any particular religion - there are plenty of options available for worship and fellowship in Tanacross. Many members of these congregations take great pride in their faith as well as their community and strive to make Tanacross a more welcoming and supportive place for all who live there.
