Aurora, Iowa is a small town of just over 400 people located in Benton County. Despite its size, the community is home to several local religious congregations. Among them are the Aurora Christian Church, Faith Bible Church and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The Aurora Christian Church offers traditional services held on Sunday mornings as well as weekly prayer meetings. They also provide a youth group for teenagers to attend during the summer months and occasional special events throughout the year. Faith Bible Church is an independent Baptist church that meets weekly on Sundays with additional activities for children and youths available on Wednesday nights. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church provides weekly Mass services along with a variety of other activities such as Rosary and Benediction for members of their congregation to enjoy. Each of these churches serves as an important resource in the community by offering spiritual guidance, fellowship, and support to individuals and families in need.
