Levant, KS is a small rural town with a population of just over 500 people. Despite its small size, Levant is home to several religious congregations including the Church of Nazarene, the First Baptist Church, and St. Charles Catholic Church. Each church has its own unique history and provides an important spiritual service to the community. The Church of Nazarene was established in 1895 and has been a fixture in Levant ever since. It offers Sunday services as well as bible studies, prayer meetings, and special events throughout the year. The First Baptist Church was founded in 1908 and provides worship services as well as outreach programs to those in need throughout the community. Lastly, St. Charles Catholic Church has been serving the local population since 1858 and offers weekly Masses as well as educational seminars for children and adults alike. All three churches are integral parts of life in Levant; providing spiritual guidance, fellowship opportunities, and much more to those who call this small town home.
