Solomon Rapids, KS Religion

Solomon Rapids, KS is a small town of approximately 1,000 people. Despite its size, the town is home to several religious congregations. There are three churches in Solomon Rapids: St. Mary's Catholic Church, First Presbyterian Church and Calvary Chapel. All three churches hold regular services and provide spiritual guidance for members of the community. St. Mary's Catholic Church is the oldest church in town and has a strong presence in the local community. First Presbyterian Church also has a long history in Solomon Rapids and provides a variety of programs such as Sunday school and youth groups for young people. Calvary Chapel is a more recent addition to Solomon Rapids but it has quickly been embraced by locals as they appreciate its contemporary approach to worship and Christian teachings. All three churches have an important role to play in building a strong faith community in this small Kansas town.
