Loretto, Pennsylvania is a small community located in Cambria County. There are several religious congregations in Loretto that represent different denominations and beliefs. The most prominent churches in Loretto are the First United Methodist Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, and Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel. The First United Methodist Church was established back in 1884 and provides weekly worship services as well as a variety of programs for the community throughout the year. St. Mary's Catholic Church has been serving Catholics since its founding in 1889 and offers a range of spiritual activities for parishioners. Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel is part of a Benedictine Monastery and provides daily Mass, prayer services, retreats, and other activities for its members.
