Crawford, Texas is a small town of approximately 1,100 people located in McLennan County. Despite its size, the town has several religious congregations of various denominations. These include First Baptist Church of Crawford, which is the oldest church in the area and was founded in 1881; St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, which first opened its doors in 1884; and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, established in 1927.
