Paragonah, UT is a rural community in Iron County, Utah. It is home to several local religious congregations, including the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), Calvary Baptist Church, and Paragonah LDS Ward. The LDS church has been part of the area since the early 1850's when settlers first arrived in the area. The Calvary Baptist Church was established in 1898 and provides spiritual guidance and worship services as well as various outreach programs for members of the community. Paragonah LDS Ward is a meetinghouse for members of the LDS church and encompasses four stakes: Beaver Dam Stake, Enterprise Stake, Paragonah Stake, and Virgin River Stake. All these churches provide an important support system for people living in this small town by holding Sunday services and offering a place to gather together for fellowship or other activities. These churches are vital to strengthening the community through their faith-based teachings and providing needed support to those within it.
