Burdette, AR is a small town in Mississippi County with a population of around 1,600 people. Despite its size, the town has excellent schools. The Burdette School District was rated as one of the top 20 school districts in Arkansas by BestPlaces.com and ranked number 4 for best teachers in Arkansas by Business Insider magazine. The district includes East Burdette Elementary, Middle School, and High School as well as West Burdette Elementary and High School. All of these schools have placed highly on state standardized tests such as ACT Aspire scores and % proficient/advanced scores. With rigorous core academic courses and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities, there are ample opportunities for students to excel in all facets of their education. The community is also very supportive of the students and faculty alike. In addition to the public schools, there are several private educational institutions within the vicinity that offer exceptional programs for those attending them. All around, Burdette has some excellent schools that contribute to its overall success!
