Baldwin, Louisiana is a small town with just over 3,000 residents located in the Gulf Coast region of the state. The local school system, Baldwin Parish Schools, serves approximately 1,800 students in grades K-12 and offers a variety of educational opportunities. The district has five elementary schools, two middle schools, a high school and an alternative education center. It also operates two preschools for ages 3 and 4. All schools are rated positively by GreatSchools and have been recognized by the state’s Department of Education for academic excellence since 2016. In addition to providing quality teachers and curriculum standards, each school also offers extracurricular activities such as athletics and clubs in order to offer a rewarding and enriching learning environment for all students.
