Grand Forks, ND is a great city for education. It is home to many schools that have received excellent ratings, providing students with quality education and resources. The educational landscape in Grand Forks includes public, private, charter, and magnet schools. Public schools provide free education for all children within the districts boundaries while private schools are tuition based and usually religiously affiliated. Charter and magnet schools are publicly funded but operate independently from the local district's school board.
