Greenland, South Dakota is a small town with a population of approximately 583 people. It is home to two schools, the Greenland Public School and the St. Thomas More Catholic School. The Greenland Public School is rated as an “Excellent” school by the state of South Dakota, and provides educational services from preschool all the way through 8th grade. Students then attend high school in nearby communities such as Sioux Falls or Yankton. St. Thomas More Catholic School provides faith-based education for students from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade. Both schools strive to provide quality educational opportunities for their students and prepare them for success in life beyond the classroom.
