Rabbit Hash, KY is a small and unique community located in Boone County. Despite its size, Rabbit Hash provides its residents and visitors with some forms of public transportation. The most notable of these are the Rabbit Hash Ferry which operates along the Ohio River from Rabbit Hash to Petersburg and back. This ferry is operated by a handful of local volunteers who have been providing this service for more than 30 years. Additionally, there is a shuttle service that runs between Rabbit Hash and several nearby towns including Hebron, Florence and Union. This shuttle runs every day from 7am to 6pm with stops at various locations throughout Boone County. With these two options, Rabbit Hash locals can easily access other parts of Boone County while visitors can explore the area without needing to rent a car or use their own vehicle.
