Burt, ND is a small town located in the northern region of the state. It has a population of 1,131 people and is a quiet place to live. Despite its small size, Burt has access to some public transportation options that can help residents get around. The main mode of transport in Burt is by car, as there are several roads that lead out of town and connect it to other cities and towns in the area. However, for those without access to a vehicle, Burt also offers city bus service operated by the Northern Valley Regional Transit Authority (NVRTA). The NVRTA buses run from Monday thru Friday during peak times and can take passengers into larger cities like Fargo or Grand Forks. Additionally, Amtrak offers train service with stops in several nearby towns which can also be used as an alternate form of transportation. Thus, although Burt is quite rural and relatively isolated, residents do have some options for getting around both within the town and outside it.
