Moroni, UT is a small town located in Sanpete County in the state of Utah. Its area covers just 1.6 square miles and has a population of 1,455 people according to the 2020 United States Census. Despite its small size there are still a variety of ways to get around town, including public transportation.
Public transportation in Moroni is managed by the Sanpete Valley Transportation Agency (SVTA). The SVTA bus system offers three routes that cover major areas of Moroni such as schools, shopping centers, churches, and more. Buses run from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday with select services available on Saturdays. In addition to the regular bus service, there is also a door-to-door Dial-A-Ride program available for those with disabilities or special needs. This service operates during normal business hours and allows people to make reservations up to 24 hours in advance for trips within Moroni city limits.
For those wishing to travel outside of Moroni, there are several options available including car rental services and regional buses provided by Intermountain Express which connects cities across Utah’s Wasatch front region including Salt Lake City and Provo. Houses are cheap and your only 45 minutes from the big cities which makes it one of the cheapest places to live. 30 minutes from the mountians if your into those things.  More
