With such a large population comes the need for reliable public transportation options. Fortunately, Ohio State is served by the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), which provides local bus service throughout Columbus and neighboring suburbs. Additionally, there are two other transit providers that serve Ohio State: COGO Bike Share and Car2Go. The COGO bike share program provides students, faculty and staff with an easy way to get around campus without having to worry about traffic or parking. Car2Go offers a car sharing service that allows students and visitors to rent cars on an hourly basis with no long-term commitment. All of these options make it easy for anyone visiting or living on campus to get around without having to rely on their own vehicles.
