Kennesaw, Georgia is a vibrant and growing city in Cobb County with an active local government and political scene. The City Council of Kennesaw is composed of five members who are elected to serve four-year terms. The Mayor and Vice Mayor are also elected on an at-large basis and serve four year terms. The City Council is responsible for setting the annual budget, establishing city ordinances, and apportioning resources within the city. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
