Oxon Hill, Maryland is a small town located in Prince George's County, just south of Washington, D.C. The town is located at the intersection of two major roads and is known for its vibrant community and diverse population. Politically, Oxon Hill has long been a Democratic stronghold with strong support for liberal policies. The mayor of Oxon Hill is Mayor James C. Cross III and he has held office since 2008. He has been elected to four terms as mayor and works hard to ensure that all residents have access to quality education, public safety, transportation, recreation and other vital services. Additionally, the town council works to ensure that the needs of all citizens are met and that their voices are heard. With the recent 2020 elections, Oxon Hill was once again firmly in the Democratic camp with overwhelming support for Joe Biden over Donald Trump on election day.
