Glen Head, NY is a small hamlet located in the town of Oyster Bay on Long Island. Politically, Glen Head has traditionally leaned conservative with most of its residents voting for Republican candidates in local and national elections. Currently, the Town Supervisor for Oyster Bay is Joseph Saladino who was elected in 2017. He is running for re-election in 2021. The town also elects two representatives to the Nassau County Legislature, while New York State Senate District 7 includes Glen Head within its boundaries. The current Senator representing this district is John Brooks, who was elected in 2018 and is now running for re-election in 2022. Locally, Glen Head is represented by the Oyster Bay Town Council which consists of three members elected from each of its five districts and an at large member elected by all of the hamlets within the town.
