Lower Merion, PA is a historic municipality located in the suburbs of Philadelphia, with a vibrant political scene. The Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners is an elected body consisting of five members who are responsible for the governance of the township and its services. The commissioners are elected to serve four-year terms, with elections held in odd numbered years. Every two years, one commissioner's seat is up for election. There is also an elected Tax Collector and Treasurer, both of whom are charged with managing the financial affairs of the township. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
