The city of Lakeway, TX is a small town located in the Texas Hill Country. The town is known for its laid-back lifestyle, stunning view of Lake Travis and access to recreational activities. Politically, the city of Lakeway is represented at the state level by Republican Representative Candy Noble and Senator Dawn Buckingham. At the county level, Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell and Commissioner Cynthia Long represent the town. Lakeway also has an active local government that includes Mayor Sandy Cox and five City Council Members, all of whom are elected by residents to serve four-year terms. The City Council meets regularly to discuss matters such as budgets, economic development, public safety initiatives and quality of life issues for citizens. All decisions are subject to voter approval during municipal elections which occur every May.

R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
