Located in the southern Yosemite National Park, Wawona is a small community in Mariposa County, California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 169 people. Politically, Wawona residents are represented as part of California's 6th Congressional District by Republican Tom McClintock and is located within California's 5th State Senate District which is currently represented by Republican Andreas Borgeas.
