Lake St. Croix Beach, MN is a small city located in the eastern part of Minnesota. The city is known for its picturesque lakefront views and quaint downtown area. Politically, Lake St. Croix Beach is aligned with the Democratic-Farm-Labor Party and has traditionally had a moderate to liberal political ideology. The city is represented in the Minnesota State Legislature by Senators Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar as well as Representatives Tom Emmer and Betty McCollum. Locally, Lake St. Croix Beach elects four representatives to the City Council who are responsible for overseeing municipal decisions including budgetary matters, infrastructure improvements, land use regulations, public safety concerns, and community development policies. Every two years citizens of Lake St. Croix Beach also elect a mayor who serves as the chief administrative officer of the city government and presides over all City Council meetings.
