Greene Township is located in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. It is a rural community with a population of around 1,400 people. Politically, the township is mainly Republican-leaning. This is reflected in its local politics, where Republicans have been the majority on the Board of Supervisors since 1994. The current Chairperson of the Board is William Kelso Jr., who was elected to a four year term in 2017. Other members of the board include Vice Chairperson Roberta Reitz and Supervisors Thomas Bittner and Austin Woodring. All are Republicans. All township elections are nonpartisan and all residents are encouraged to get involved in their local government by running for office or voting in local elections.
