Osceola County, Iowa was established in 1871 and is located in the far northwestern corner of the state, next to Minnesota. A population of around 6500 people live in the area with Sibley being the county seat. Osceola features some recreational activities such as camping, boating and fishing at Bigelow Park or Deer Creek Lake while agriculture as well as light manufacturing sectors are also important for local economy.
