Fairmont has good schools. Its K-12 public school system offers a comprehensive curriculum, wide-ranging extra-curricular opportunities, and up-to-date facilities. Parochial schools also are in place and doing well. Post secondary options are available in a refurbished and modern centrally located building. Courses and degrees are offered at this site by outside institutions, including Presentation College and the regional technical school.
