| Nice touristy town by the beach. - 3/11/2021
It's a nice town to visit - although very touristy. Clean air - and nice sand dunes nearby. A variety of housing - but expensive. Good for seafood. I would say that Jose and Irma from Fresno would like this place - but Hans and Sandeep from Mountain View, CA may consider it a bit too downscale.

| Update after living here for 5 years - 10/7/2016
It's still challenging to find a good job: Diablo Canyon Nuclear plant has announced it will be closing in 9 years, so many 6-figure incomes will be going along with the closure. Recommend you already have an independent income or a good position lined up before coming to live here. Otherwise, only jobs are in service industries.

Because of fires allowed in campsites each and everyday it is very smokey and hard to breath.
