Good place to live, good place to play! - 2/8/2010

Watauga, Texas is a good place to live for many reasons. The town itself is small, most of the people are friendly, and the schools are for the most part accommodating. Most of the homes and families are a little more blue collar than you would imagine. You will see a lot of pickups and construction worker types but there is no better place to have a flat tire. You will have 3 or 4 people stop and offer to help before AAA can arrive. I love the small neighborhoods teaming with kids playing in the streets and the nightly BBQ's. The recreation center is great and you are close enough to both Dallas and Fort Worth to have a "real" job. I plan on living in Watauga for years to come!
