The politics and the taxes make living in Cambridge terrible. Property values are depressed because the taxes are too high. Not enough people paying heir own way or fair share. Sorry I ever built a house here. [read more...]

| quiet life near water - 11/17/2006
Cambridge is an hour from the beach at Ocean City and two hours from DC and Baltimore. It's just over an hour from Annapolis and BWI airport. The outdoor scenery is beautiful with lots of water and open spaces and there is no traffic or congestion. There are a few good restaurants, but not many stores. Although the housing market keeps going up, it is still cheaper than the surrounding ares. The nearest mall is Salisbury, 40 minutes away. The job market seems to be improving. Hyatt Chesapeake has put us on the map as a resort destination and that has brought in other busineses.[read more...]

Cambridge is great for a lot of speculation. We have LOADS of condos and townhomes going up BUT NO SHOPPING, JOBS, INFRASTRUCTURE, or UTILITIES TO SUPPORT THE INCOMING PEOPLE!! Imagine the population of Tampa transported to the outer banks of NC. HELP!!!![read more...]
