If you like living away from everything and where there is very little diversity in life but fishing than Citrus Springs is the place for you. The subdivision is huge but the growth has not happen as quick as I would prefer. The schools are adequate but we are receiving a new elementary which will give us two and soon a high school will be up and running. There is a middle school with after school care which is a great feature for the households with two working parents or a single parent. Unfortunately, there is not enough here to keep our kids entertained and out of trouble. It is still a growing community and with the new Sunbelt Parkway that will help Citrus county be more accessible to Tampa and soon to Tallahassee.
