New Milford Point of View

We moved here in June of 2007 after spending the past 25 years in Alaska. Summer climate is very nice with a typical afternoon thunderstorm but nice warm days. Winter has been very mild but be prepared for a shock when you receive your oil and electric bill. In fact you should call a paramedic before opening the envelope. Everything here is overpriced but relatively low compared to other parts of the state. People are not friendly so don't expect anyone to say hello back to you when you smile and say hi. Very stuffy..
Love the idea of being far enough away from NY city but close enough to take the train there on the weekends. The city is fun..
Taxes will make you cry like a baby girl... Another paramedic moment...
