Review of Hinesville, Georgia

Typical military town
Star Rating - 4/8/2007
I've lived in and around the Hinesville/Fort Stewart area since coming here when I joined the Army. Since then, my wife moved here after we married. Because this is a military town with all the single soldiers, there is a great deal to do as far as bars and clubs go, but a definite lack of family oriented activities exists without going onto Fort Stewart. Shopping is okay, with the obligatory Wal-Mart Supercenter within 10 minutes of everywhere in town, but the best stores and sight seeing is in Savannah, about 45 minutes away.
