Don't hate the smaller city

I have lived several places in my life so far: Los Angeles, London, etc...but I grew up in Indiana for the most part and went to college in Indiana. I am now a professional interior architect in Indianapolis. There are many professional jobs out there based on your college degree, so I am not sure what everyone is complaining about. It is a great city that also has the quaint suburban life if you want it. Mass transit is in the works, and with the Superbowl coming in 2012, downtown is blowing up with new companies, amazing new restaurants, and new hotels like the Conrad. Of course it is not New York City - go there if that is what you want. But for the best of everything, Indy is great. You can work in the city, live in the suburbs, and not have to work around the clock to be able to afford your place. However, with the cost of living and a great new airport, i would rather live here and travel than live anywhere else.
