Review of Brandon, Mississippi

Why I love living here!
Star Rating - 9/2/2010
I have lived in many areas of the country - Portland, Oregon, Scottsdale, Arizona, Memphis, Tennessee, Las Vegas, Nevada. Although Mississippi does not have exposure to many of the things that these cities or other cities have, it does have a lot of charm, culture, and is geographically situated dead center to nearby cities within easy driving range, i.e. New Orleans, Memphis, Atlanta, Birmingham, Dallas, Little Rock, etc. Brandon is a small town, historically known for its "Miss America - Mary Ann Mobley" - but it's got a quaint historical downtown, and spreads to the more rural areas with Million Dollar + homes located on the Ross Barnett Reservoir. It has a small town atmosphere and charm, and friendly people. I can sleep with my doors unlocked and never have a worry. And the cost of living is unreal -- low!!! It's a great place to live in every way!
