Hot Springs

Hot Springs is beautiful and a GREAT place to raise kids. There are so many beautiful streams, lakes, forests to play in, and the whole downtown in a state park. Great water, and nice hot springs. It is hard to find jobs there though, and the people who live there struggle to make it, unless they are independently wealthy. Lots of retires.
I lived there three years when my son was little, and didn't realize how wonderful it was till I moved away. I look back at that time as a free and natural playful time in his childhood. There isn't much traffic (except by the racetrack) the people are freindly, and you don't have the issues you do in big cities. Kids can really be kids. There is alot of poverty and drug use there, but also some of the best recovery/treatment centers, and alot of health centers.
Just make sure you have jobs secured before you go.
