Review of Coconut Creek, Florida

north end of coconut creek.
Star Rating - 9/25/2005
I currently live in the notheast end of coconut creek and I find it to be a great value. The surrounding areas are parkland, boca raton and deerfield beach all of which have higher property taxes and have no real advantage as we all share the same local ammentities, restaurants, parks, shopping . The city has a developing plan in place were there will be nightlife in the north-center part of coconut creek. It will only mean that you wouldn't need to travel another 15 minutes for it but it will help highlight coconut creek and property values will rise. The southern end of coconut creek has older homes and alot of retirement living. Townhomes are common and there is the matter of the county landfill (dump) that has been reflected in property values on the southern end. Coconut creek is a long city running north/south. The schools and area are prodominately white like the above mentioned cities so if you are looking for more of a cultural mix ,this probably isnt it.
