Best bet for Florida living is newer bedroom communities. Closer to inland parks for canoe and kayak, but a quick drive to the shore.
There's not a safe city in the state to live in, and frankly the nicest suburbs do have a high quantity of burglaries, just not the murders of the cities.
Going to beaches is not the fun of a home pool. Driving, sand, driving home sweaty in hot car. Weather here is murder last few years, no cooling summer showers.
Mowing twice a week. Chemicals to keep it all growing. It is expensive to live the florida dream!house insurancr incredible. Flood and sinkhole insurance. Roads are now like bumper car rides.... You WILL be hit every two years.
New governor throwing teachers out as quickly as he can, so bring money for private schools.
